Barca, Barca!

Wondering through the city we suddenly discovered a great fashion exhibition “What to wear?” of Maria Brillas´ vintage cloths designed by her friend and great couturier of last century Pedro Rodríguez.  Maria Brillas called her dressing room “my office” and it was organized according to the occasions- light dresses, suits and tailored ensembles, coats, cocktail dresses, black dresses, majestic dresses, sheer dresses, tunic dresses, dresses with jewel-like beadwork. Among the ideas of exhibition we liked these especially :”The pieces that make up our wardrobe are extensions  of our personality and all of them are efficient tools that help us to construct our image and identity(..) moreover, the wardrobe we build up over time shapes our own biography (..)”
We enjoyed the classic places of Barcelona like Sagrada Família, Casa Battló, La Pedrera, Museum of Picasso or The Joan Miró Foundation…

Besides history, sea and fashion we fell in love with delicious crema catalana and cupcakes.
